What is Professional Training?
The Professional Training Services Program offers continuing education opportunities for education and helping professionals. The program’s primary goals are to develop skills and update information in order to prepare these professionals to confidently discuss issues related to health, human sexuality and family living.

We believe that health and sexuality education is most meaningful and effective when it imparts knowledge, explore values and feelings, and builds decision-making and communication skills. Ultimately, the goal of sexuality education is to assist students and clients in their development toward a sexually healthy adult life. We encourage interested educators, counselors, clergy, medical personnel, parents and community leaders to share in making that a goal a reality, for our community, by taking advantage of our Professional Training Services Program.

Our workshops and seminars provide a forum for adult growth and learning, enhancing the professional’s abilities to educate others. We are committed to identifying the personal development benefits of continuing education for individuals, families, communities and organizations.
