Understanding Sexuality through the Lifespan
Human sexuality and the sexual feelings associated with it do not begin in adolescence and end when one reaches retirement age. Sexuality begins long before birth and continues to the end of life. Although "sex" seems to be everywhere in the media, much of the information is superficial, focuses on the more sensational aspects and relies on sources of questionable accuracy. As a result people of all ages are still confused about sexual issues and are particularly concerned about whether their own bodies, sexual feelings and sexual activities are "normal." This workshop series will provide helping professionals with an understanding of sexuality through the lifespan.
