Spring Workshop Series
Healthy Sexuality for EVERYONE: Working with Special Populations

In its broadest context developmentally appropriate sexuality education promotes emotional growth, sexual health and general well being. Unfortunately for many individuals sexuality education is unavailable and/or inapplicable to their experiences, needs and concerns. When education and helping professionals address sexuality in a manner that is respectful of diversity and tailored to the needs and abilities of specific populations, sexuality education promotes not only sexual health but social justice. This workshop series will provide professionals with up-to-date information and innovative strategies for reaching three populations that often fall "between the cracks" of formalized education programs.

Workshop One — Wednesday, April 18, 2007
