Winter Workshop Series
Working with Pregnant and Parenting Teens

Although adolescent pregnancy rates continue to decrease the problem of "children having children" remains and its effects are felt by all of us-especially the fragile families headed by teen parents. Teen parents want to be good parents, but they don't always have the skills and/or resources. Straddling the world of adolescence and the adult world of parenthood is a tremendous challenge. With help and support, they can learn the skills and art of parenting. This workshop series will examine what pregnant and parenting teens need from education and service providers.

Workshop One — Wednesday, January 24, 2007
"I though it couldn't happen to me." Unplanned Adolescent Pregnancy, Ambivalence and Decision-Making

Workshop Two — Wednesday, February 21, 2007

Workshop Three — Wednesday, March 14, 2007
